“I`m a big believer in, no matter what you go through in life, as long as you can laugh your way through it, you`re going to be okay.” – Alyssa Milano
If someone was to ask a friend or family member of mine about something I do the most; they will reply with saying that I laugh a lot. I laugh at the little, small, medium and large things in life. To me, laughter is the best medicine. You cant laugh when you have a frown on your face. If I forget to do/get something I laugh about it to myself (then I say oops!). I would like to use the example from AFV (Americas Funniest Home Videos). A mother comes across her two young children in the other room. The older sibling has paint all over his hands, while the youngest has paint all over his body. The whole time that the mother is taping this messy discovery of her boys, she is not yelling at them. She is laughing with and at her boys. Instead of getting all worked up about the mess that was made, she used her laughter as an “output”.
Goal: Go ahead and laugh at your mistakes. Laugh with your family. Laugh with your friends and coworkers. But most importantly, come to realize that at times laughter is the best medicine.
